Can you recommend WIKIs to show in class?

I volunteered to teach my daughter's class (9th graders) how to collaborate (wikis and google docs). Their ignorance is shameful.
Anyway, I was wondering if you can suggest some wikis that I can show the students in the classroom so they can understand what can be done with wikis and how it can help them do projects together.

I'm about to work on this with my classes next year. My thought is to start with a relevant page from Wikipedia - perhaps even one that needs correction or expansion - and do it!

If the school is using the most recent version of Microsoft's SharePoint, it already has Wiki functionality built-in (so I'm told, and I always wonder about how MS will put their own peculiar stamp on an existing technology...) My intention will to use their platform, if it's inhospitable, my plan is to pick on Wikispaces - but Laura may have some better advice after the survey here is completed. I suggest using Google Sites. Thogh Google does not call it a wiki platform, it absolutely is. The thing I like about Google's applications are the easy "crossing" of their apps - using Google Docs, Reader, and Video nicely fit with the Sites. I like Wikispaces and PBWiki, too, but I find a one-stop use easy to teach with and they compiment each other nicely.
