Fireside Learning: Conversations about Education

Thought I'd let you all know we've just posted a new blog, and invite you to come read about choices, good work, and how we might help our students who are struggling in their decision-making. There are several blogs posted now, by Howard Gardner, and the rest of the GW team. Would welcome your feedback!

Hi Lynn--
I'm not getting the link to the blog to work. Can you check it? Do you know how to reset it?
Thanks,
Connie

Hi Connie,

Hmmm, let's try this again:

Hope this works, and thanks for checking!

Hi Lynn,
That works... thanks!
And wow--what a nice space you have there. VERY thoughtful essays by very thoughtful people.
Here's an idea--how about you cross-post your own blog, putting it up here on Fireside just as it appears on the GWT blog? A number of people on Fireside cross-post blogs.
Your blog is great. I would love to see "Nobel Prize for Mentorship" posted here in its entirety. (Then you can get comments in two places, here and on your site.)
See what you think. What you're writing about fits in so well with our community discussions. I hope a lot of people read your stuff!
Connie
PS: You could get some of the others at GWT to do the same...

Hi Connie,

Thanks very much for your kind words about the blog, and for your enthusiasm! I think I've done as you suggested, but if it doesn't work as you envisioned, please let me know?

I will try to get some of the others on our team to become more active as well, I promise!

Also, I don't know how much time you spent on the GWT site, but we also have a forum there as well. We're WAY behind you all, but conversations are starting to happen around various topics - so if you have the energy and time, please have a look? Your comments would be very welcome. Should we hyperlink this too, or is that overkill?

Tks again, for all - you've set a great example to follow.

Lynn
