Recruiting... Would you add in a friend? And, in general, who you would like to see joining our network?

Please think about your immediate community of friends or contacts: who would you like to have join in on Fireside Learning? Please, if you're willing, take a moment to invite a special friend, someone who cares a lot about education. (And if you'd like, tell that person to let us know who invited him or her... That's always fun to know.)

Also, could you give some feedback on the kind of person you'd like to have join--who do we need to see more of around here? Do we need more science teachers, art teachers, museum educators, college teachers, parents, students of education, community health practitioners, administrators, students in general, technology educators, board members? What categories of people would you like to see us recruit?

If you have ideas about recruiting for Fireside at other sites, please share! Or--simply go ahead! Help us find people that will add into the mix. We've got some powerful synergy going here, and need to keep the energy invested in outward directions. (Do you think so? What's your view on recruiting? What do you see happening on other educational networks, that works for recruiting?)

Marie, I totally agree. Diversity is essential. We need to actively promote diversity. That's one of the things that enriches a network, keeps it alive.

So send some of your diverse friends this way, add them into the mix, ok? :-)
