What Have You Changed Your Mind About?

Edge.org asked its prominent online contributors this question in order to begin the new year 2009 with some fresh critical ideas about where we stand and where we're likely headed in a number of thought areas. The result is a collection of essays soon to be released in book form which is promoted in this article by John Brockman. A sample essay from the forthcoming book, written by one of my favorite thinkers, Nassim Taleb, author of The Black Swan, is featured in Brockman's article. I've pre-ordered a copy of What Have You Changed Your Mind About?: Today's Leading Minds Rethink Everything from Amazon.com and can't wait to be flummoxed, at first at least, by its potentially convention-uprooting, mind-awakening ideas.
