Let's identify those areas of research and active engagement in education reform that are of value to us in our work. The first School of Education to be highlighted is Teachers College at Columbia University in New York City. Instead of providing a direct link here to TC's website, Skip recommends you take a look at this group's first posting about a new webchannel on education just launched by the TC community.

Skip plans to highlight the work of a good number of additional schools over time: Stanford, Harvard, Vanderbilt's Peabody, Michigan, for starters. But everyone in the Fireside Learning community is greatly encouraged to bring interesting and important university-based work to light--especially when it happens to come from one's alma mater or from a program in which one is actually a participant.
