Here is one for all to ponder upon Brother Momoh uses these kinds of challenges in his Spiritual Training curriculum for schools. How do you connect this to spiritual development?

Shalom RHQ Group Members, I must apologize for my absence for I have been involved in intensive writing. This group is so essential to my writing and my reflecting on what I write. Therefore, I welcome your comments, your own ideas or discussions as well. What I have done when I created this group was to pour out in a concrete way all of the items that I consider in this research. During the past week, my research took a different turn I think but perhaps it is finally getting its place in dealing not only with a MAJOR GAP in educational research but a critical issue for the survival of children whose parents suffered tremendous trauma in this country.

I will be writing discussions here and perhaps blogs on my page this week reflecting the issue of Intergeneration Post Trauma Syndrome for students of African descent and First Nations to America students. Both slavery with its years of institutional common shocks following and Indian Boarding Schools along with genocidal practices in America and by American Government traditions have brought harms that perhaps research will demonstrate have impacted upon successive generations.

Consequently, my research will look at Residential School Syndrome which was the start of the research a year ago but now after much reading on spriituality in education, I came to realize that Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome is also a factor that must be considered. I am led to believe that one cannot continue to address the needs of a population when one has never faced the problem. This is the primary Gap I think exist in the literature regarding healing children in education. The answer for the two cultural populations I intend to focus on will perhaps reflect the needs of all children in schools today.

Todah Eemah for the invite. This is a Soul on Ice Paradise LOL! Seems like lots of work to plow through. So let me get busy. I came across a clip today that may offer a little beam of light on your endeavor.
