- I am a senior in college and have just started my first phase of student teaching. I am a English/Language Arts major with a minor in Elementary Ed. I had some of the best teachers during my school career and hope to pass on their inspiration to my own students some day. I can't wait to begin my journey in the world of education!

Do you fit in time for reading books of your own choosing? Are you reading anything right now. I just finished "A Walk in the Woods" by Bill Bryson and am starting his book, "The Thunderbolt Kid. " I'm also an avid reader -- and writer -- during the summer. Once the school year starts, however, I seem to just work and take care of the myriad tasks involved with raising children.
