Hi Ana/Ingrid:

I see that you're interested in finding ways to help children in the slums with their learning... Just wanted to connect you with Anna Barson, a former student, who shares your passion and has been active in this work.

Also, somewhere recently I've been reading about "the nanosecond before creating an idea"--but can't the reference. I'm thinking it was in a Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi book. Does he inspire your studies? What are you learning about that nanosecond?

Hello Ana, aka Ingrid,
You are indeed welcome here. There's so much to talk about. Your interests: "technological pedagogy, most especially participatory design and civic engagement with teachers and change organizations... international development and collaboration"--those interests are shared by many who participate here.
Please share with us what you're learning, wondering, thinking about! I love your question about inspiration. Are you studying inspiration in the psychological/educational literature as well? Writing about it? Can't wait to hear more.
And yes, "Rethink Education Now" (from your website) is what we need to do!

Welcome, Ana!

Although all the "big" words you use to describe your work interests have me reeling, I look forward to your demonstration of them in the weeks ahead.

Thanks for joining our community of learners!
