- Tell about your involvement in education, and your ideals for collegial sharing
- I am a 2001 Disney Teacher Honoree! I founded a special movie making "club" (filming during and after school) in 1993 and it has grown and evolved over the years. I wold love to share how to create your own classroom movies and some of the educational goals that you will meet whilst doing so!
- About Me:
- When I won my Disney award, I was teaching in NJ. 3 years ago, I moved back to my homestate of Michigan. I went from teaching children in elementary with learning differences and Asbergers, to now teaching children with autism and moderate to severe cognitive impairments at the middle school level - and surpisingly loving it!!!

How's life in Michigan? I see that you are teaching and happy!...I am still doing my thing at BHS. This year we have a science theme. No puppet shows now we are creating biomes! Each year I say "I'll retire next year" ...guess I just love teaching too much. Hope you are well. Terri

It'd be great if you'd share some of your experiences in movie-making with young people.
Also, we'd love to hear about your teaching of students with learning differences and autism! Glad you love it. Please jump right into the conversations, start some of your own forums, enter some blog posts. Do you know how to use a network like this?
