- Tell about your involvement in education, and your ideals for collegial sharing
- I'm an independent school administrator in Virginia and have been a classroom teacher (Middle School, Upper School, University) since 1993. I'm not sure how to respond to my ideals for collegial sharing beyond the fact that I think it's a good idea.
- About Me:
- I'm an ex-academic who decided to teach at the secondary level and haven't looked back. My (unfinished) dissertation topic was academic traditionalism in Spain in the late 17th century. Sure that sounds obscure, but it is amazingly relevant in the my job today. The same types of issues were present then as they are today. But don't get me started on my dissertation...

I'm from an independent school, too--I'm in Michigan. (Are you going to the ISACS conference in Minneapolis in November? If so, I'll see you there!)
It'll be great to have you join in to the conversations and also for you to start your own. I'd like to hear about how your studies are relevant to your job today, among other things!
Pull up a log by the fire to sit upon, have some hot chocolate (tea, wine, dark beer, coffee), roast a marshmallow, and.... enjoy!
