Thanks so much, Erin! I would be there in a heartbeat if I could. Thanks for the news--I bet you'll have a good number of people attending, and a lot of people following things on Twitter as well. Actually, I'm just CRAVING going to this particula...

This is a great conference I've been to in Boston. It would be great to have those of you in the area attend. If you're not in Boston, no worries you can follow it all day on Twitter! (#homeinc) More info below! ---------------------------------...

Hi Erin,

So glad to see you here. I loved your course at Project Zero; loved hearing about your work.

There's much to talk about. I'm just back from vacation in northern Michigan and now have time to check out the references you supplied in the course. Very excited to be connected to you and be able to think together about 21st century education.

Please join in on some conversations on Fireside and start some of your own!

Welcome, Erin!
Boy, you folks at NML are engaged in some fascinating work. It's difficult most of the time for non-researchers in media phenomena to keep up with discoveries and novel perspectives on literacy and digitally-mediated communication and the development of learning communities, whether the interactivity of those communities are locally close, or globally remote. But it's more than fascinating to understand; it's vital to be able to accomplish effectively and happily.

Please excuse a little exuberant rambling in my welcome to you on the importance of your project's curiosity about and study of participatory culture; I'm happy to simply share that curiosity, if not the serious study, and glad you've decided to join this little community of learners. Please join in or start any discussion that matters to you. Welcome!

Welcome from Oz, Erin,
Wow, I want to earwig on your conversations about literary practices. It seems a fascinating and important field which I know next to nothing about; and neither do my youth who are swimming in it!

Ian
Hope you enjoy sharing the company and conversations here.
Look forward to your presence about the place.
