Here is their list (A-Z order) of protocols that are used in CFG groups (Critical Friends Groups). I have used them (I am a CFG leader) for adult groups but have easily adapted them for powerful student (from Kindergarten on) learning groups. htt...

Gina,
I am not the most savvy user of this Ning, but I'm not giving up. I see that you were in the FoL institute, sorry I missed it. I am a group leader in the PZSC...I'm writing to ask you about the National School Reform programs. Tina Blythe recommended to me that I think about getting trained in the Critical Friends protocols. I actually did a training, shortened version, but our school system dropped the ball. Now I'm out on my own, trying to get into meaningful professional development coaching and I thought it might be useful to get this training. What would you say? Is there work to be found with this training under my belt?
Glad to meet you here.

Hi Gina,

Wow--you just finished teaching a course? Right after Future of Learning?

Your ideas for documenting to further the learning are much needed and valued. I was looking through your course notes at FoL--SO wish I had been able to be in the course.

Could you look over the ementoring program I'm starting up and give some reactions? I think you'd have good perspective to add in. Look in the "group" section on mentoring.

Just made yet another batch of pesto. Soon, the tomato harvest will start coming in. Too bad about the blight. (Imagine the eeriness and desperation when that settled across Ireland, taking over the entire country's potato crop.) It has been weird weather this year.

Let's share garden pictures that include not only beauty, but chaos, like weeds, animal damage, and blight... Only if you get a chance. Seems like resting up is a first-order priority!

Good to hear from you--

Hi Gina!
So glad you're on the network. People have a lot to learn from you. Posts on any or all of your topics would be vastly beneficial. I need ideas for documentation of the learning... Funny, with all I do with 21st-century learning in class, I rarely document what's going on. So it's time to change. Actually, the students produce media all the time, and the students share stuff with each other on the network--but I need more sharing going with parents and colleagues. So, ideas are welcome and needed.
People here would LOVE to hear about the Making Learning Visible project. Can you share some links, references, or thoughts? I mean over time, not today... ;-)
Hey, what do you have in your rooftop garden? Got any pics?
