I want to use technology to make good education available to all!
About Me:
I am working on a community service project @ MIT to get people to make fun, creative videos about SAT vocab. We're running a contest with prize $$$ and iTunes giveaways. To learn more go to http://www.BrainyFlix.com

PSA about BrainyFlix Contest & Some Sample Videos

Thanks, Teachers! Because of your efforts:

- The Brainyflix video contest generated over 800 videos teaching tough SAT vocabulary in fun ways and are now part of a free resource to all. For those of you who are new to us (hi), SNL + SAT vocab = Brainyflix :) - Students created over 1,200 visual flashcards for our Brainypics flashcard contest. Who knew that kids could put their love of lolcats to good use?
- We gave out over $1,000 in cash and itunes prizes to students and their schools. Mad props to Salesforce and MIT for making that happen.

What Now?

We chill, of course. Dude, it's the summa tiiime~. Actually, we're looking to run these contests again this upcoming school year, likely once in the Fall and again in the Spring. If you're interested in getting involved, please stop by our homepage and sign up for updates:

We promise your email won't be used for anything else but our dorky brand of edutainment.

Hi Jack,
You've added some very interesting things here. I'm going to listen to those 5 inspirational speeches with my son over vacation--and yes, he is studying for the SAT now. I'll be looking into what you're up to.... What a community service project. The math problems you work out for SAT studying: WOW! Fun. Actually, awesome. Looks like you'll be hanging out at our house over the holidays! Thanks!
