- Tell about your involvement in education, and your ideals for collegial sharing
- An educator and youth development professional for 35 years, my most current project is the creation of a citywide community-based system for working with disconnected youth. The model was initiated under a national federal initiative, and since 2006 is fully funded by the Baltimore Mayor and City Council. An evidence-based system with national award, the programs are based on a personal and innovative philosophy on what youth need to succeed in learning. Collegial sharing is a core element of my career's work as it is the foundation of my own personal, professional and continuing learning.

- My passions include art, music and theatre, where I have active involvements. My purpose is to teach and connect others to funds of knowledge and the resources for life-long learning capacities and empowerment. I am also a technical and creative writer.
