Illinois still mandates daily PE but unfortunately this is not always happening.
There are many outstanding programs in Illinois and a very strong PE Association. (IAHPERD)

- I was a physical education and health teacher for 33 years. I retired in 2007.
I'm now working part-time at Sauk Valley College and am also teaching outdoor education at White Pines Ranch. I also substitute when time permits.
