I am high school Italian Teacher studying to be an administrator. At the moment, I am studying for the SLLA and finishing up my administrative internship. I believe education is like a good pasta sauce; it needs time, and new ingredients to make it better.
About Me:
I am perfectionist with slight variations of OCD; these qualities have made me the teacher I am today. I hope to bring these qualities to the next level.

Hello Joseph, and welcome!
I found your blog very interesting. Especially like this part:
"Seeing the future's challenges in a positive light and being proactive with regard to curriculum is a healthy perspective for a school leader/agent of change. As an administrator in waiting, I plan on promoting the abovementioned value; we need to be positive and suppress the cynicism that has stifled progress in schools. An agent of change knows this and must also recruit more agents while trying to change or neutralize skeptical individuals."
An agent of change, proactive with regard to curriculum--can't wait to hear more!
thanks for joining Fireside Learning.
Oh, since it sounds like you're into cooking; did you see Ratatouille?

Welcome Joseph,
I like the sauce analogy - so often the gurus/administrators want to blend or homogenise everything. But a worthwhile sauce has texture and variety. Worthwhile teaching 'piques' the learning buds? And then there's the pasta which supports the sauce and provides bulk...
Cook us up something nice...
