So glad to have you here. I hope we get to hear a lot about what you've learned and are learning about working with learning diversity and differences.
Have you ever listened to Todd Rose talk? He works with Howard Gardner at Harvard. He's a superb speaker on all sorts of differences in learning, particularly differences in working-memory and attention. If you get a chance to see him at the Brain Conference, at Project Zero Classroom, or in some local engagement, I think you'd find the time very well-spent. Are you near Cambridge?
I've left some references in the Harvard Project Zero and Future of Learning "group" that you might like.
You may also wish to do some searches under the "forum" tab. We have many ongoing discussions about learning differences--it's a definite "theme" here.
35 years of teaching! We have that in common, along with the love of reading, history (for me that includes natural history), and gardening. And I, too, love learning with colleagues.
