- My involvement in education is in kinesthetic learning. I am a K-12 Physical Education Specialist who is a mentor teacher for newbies and also overseeing the Off Campus Physical Education program for Austin ISD.

Yahoo! What a delight to have you here. It'll be great to have you as a participant. Your line of work is so important; the stories you could share I can only imagine! Please let us hear about some of the "transformational moments" you've witnessed or felt yourself.
So glad to gain a PE person here--we have several already, and value them so much. A lot of people on the network are runners or athletes outside of work... and we get going on talks about coaching, too.
Hey, I love fishing, too. Got any fishing stories to put in your blog? Sure would love to hear them.
Glad to hear about your experience in mentoring newbies. I'm beginning an exploration in setting up mentoring here on Fireside. Watch for posts about seeking mentors, and please jump in if you are willing to share your wisdom (which can be done even on or inbetween fishing trips, one of the cool things about this era of connection).
