- I am beginning my second year teaching high school math. I teach at an independent school in Michigan. I hope to be able to connect with someone who has gone through what I am going through as a new teacher. So glad you're here! Hey, I'm in Michigan as well, at an independent school. Maybe I'll see you at the AIMS conference?
I'm still planning things through for the mentoring program; I got behind, but should have things up and going for that program by the end of the month. We'll get you someone that'll help you along as you wish, with any questions and problems that come up.
Meanwhile, please make yourself at home, join in on any discussions that interest you, and even start up some discussions. (Go ahead--take the plunge--we love questions started up by teachers new to the field!)
