Great photos!
Beautiful natural surroundings, inquisitive students.
Outdoor education is one of my favorite of all things in the w0rld. My dream has always been to have students sharing notes and observations about their local natural world with other students in other settings who are doing the same.
In the summer, I run an outdoors camp. We spend all day every day outside, tracking animals, watching birds, fighting off mosquitoes, studying ponds, just generally exploring around. During the school year I always include nature study in our work.
We seem to be kindred spirits, if I'm not reading too much into your photos...Let's keep in touch!
What are the kids in the photos doing?
Glad to have you on Fireside!
Again, so nice to see you on the other ning I post on. Happy holidays!
It's nice to welcome you to the Fireside - please share your discoveries in teaching with us, favourites of 2008, or whatever you wish.
