Tell about your involvement in education, and your ideals for collegial sharing
I am a teacher/ learner, middle school mainly although I work with adults on a variety of levels as well. I have been very fortunate to have been involved with very open and sharing colleagues throughout my career. Its hard to imagine education without discourse among stakeholders.

I teach 8th grade science in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Waldorf and the 21st century

When my wife and I first looked into a Waldorf school for our son I came home thinking, “ah, no.” Everything seemed fine really. The staff were very caring, the facility adequate, the
other children, some of whom we knew were happy and prospering. So what
was the turn off? Well, there were some pedagogical things that didn’t
seat quite right, but when they said, no technology, not until high
school, well that was that.

I am so happy to have found this site...and 'lo and behold..aren't you there!!! I am struggling to become more technological. I have only found this site less than 24 hours ago, and I've already learned so much. I am not certain that I'm navigating through this correctly, but I will continue to try. Happy snow day!
