Hi Sara,
Good to hear from you. If you want the ads off a ning, you have to pay a monthly fee (about $30 as I recall). I started doing that here some time last year, very happy I did.

Thanks for joining in Sara, I'll look forward to your sharing, and more of your story. Do you have a website, or account of the story of founding four C? Sounds fscinating, exciting, draining, scary and rewarding!

Sara,

Yea! So glad you joined. Oh, I know we'll get a lot of learning going here... Can't wait to hear about your experiences-- they'll be instructive and inspiring to us all.
Hope you find Fireside a great place to share and learn. Jump right in on conversations that interest you, and start some new forums as well.
If you get a chance to post some pictures of where you are, that'd be awesome. (I'm trying to picture where you live.) If you want to do that, just go to "my page," a tab at the top, click on "photos" and then "add photos."
Anyhow, just know you're welcome; it's great to have you as part of the learning community.

I started a bilingual school, Four C, in Brazil. The Four C´s stand for critical thinking, culture, collaboration and citizenship. We hope to prepare children for their lives by using a project based interdisciplinary approach. We hope that we can teach them to love to learn.
About Me:
I was born is the U.S. but have spent time in other countries prior to Brazil. I have lived here for 13 years. I worked in industry for years and loved it, but became increasingly interested in learning and human potential. Since high school I have been involved with social and leadership activities and now I assist youth to have similar opportunities.
