I love this idea that these book's content was constrained by the page- that they might live and breathe better given a digital, hyper-linked environment. So true that the design and content of some (text)books is excellent. This thinking reminds...

Hi Andrew, I thought about you this evening watching a GREAT documentary about Robert Moog - have you seen it? here's the promo website for the movie:
http://www.zu33.com/moog/
It was wonderful, so warm and thought-provoking, too. I had seen Moog in a documenary about Leon Theremin years ago, and he seemed like such a great guy then... but I had no idea really until seeing this documentary what a congenial genius he was. Wow. Anyway, you have shared such great recs with us I wanted to share this with you in case you had not seen this film. It was super. :-)

Hi Andrew ! Would you like to work and talk with french music teachers :) I have a suggestion for you: we have in Europe special programs to encourage students of european countries to work together. Next year, it will be possible to have for this program non-european teachers and students. It's possible to plan a project with teachers music i work with... I'll give you more details if you are interestes,
Vincent

Yeah, Andrew! So glad to have you here. Echo Skip's comments: true musical education and personalized technology... So much to hear about. We can all learn a lot of stuff together. Your site, "Another Brick in the Wall: ed, tech, and new paradigms" is fascinating.
Please join into the conversations and start your own as well. Glad to see you posted on your blog here right away.
Welcome!
What's on your mind? Want some hot chocolate? How about some marshmallows to toast?
PS: My daughter is in music, studying to become a music teacher. It's fascinating to hear what they study. She's also into leading a traveling fiddling group (Gaelic).

Please start or participate in any discussions of interest to you in this community of learners. True musical education and personalized technology use are two topics in which I am particularly interested and hope to hear more from you about.
Thanks for joining us.
