My holiday hiatus :-)

Hi everybody, I'm glad to be back in action here at Fireside... I took some time off from everything (WHEW!!!) and then I got involved in some fabulous new projects - which actually give me some real hope for the expanding world of Latin online. Totally shameless self-promotion: I got a good book review!!!

Well, given my OVERJOYED mood at this book review, I'm tempted to write this blog post in all caps, ha ha. Seriously, as someone who has been leading a life totally on the fringes of the Latin world, advocating content and pedagogy that cost me my job in the Classics department at my school, I was so so SOOOOOO happy to see that my Latin textbook based on Aesop's fables got a super-positive review at the Bryn Mawr Classical Review:…
