New year!
How cool is it to be starting another year. When compared to not starting another year it seems very cool. I hope everyone has a great beginning! There is always something so great about a new year and new possibility.

I agree totally with what Skip said. You have been a great inspiration to me, and to my students. Looking forward to another year of adventures with you. Let's do some projects together.
What are you doing about the under-13 ning thing?
Guess I'll get over to Art Snacks and see. I'm sure my students have been hanging out there...

Your creativity and commitment to the good of your communities of learners raise my hopes for this often troubled world we inhabit. Be assured that for all who are fortunate to know your engagement with them in this new year, for some it will be mind/life changing. To listen to you both speak about "possibilities" gives this listener goosebumps of anticipation!

YEAH KEVIN! I started my online classes yesterday using a Ning for that - oh my gosh, it was great! I get excited at the beginning of every year but getting to interact with my students using a Ning looks like it is going to be fantastic (it's a 100% online class, so I need the best online tools to make that work)... anyway, I am going to try to be good and post in my blog here at Fireside some notes about this experiment goes.
NEW POSSIBILITIES... now if I can just hold that thought for the whole semester, for every single day! :-)
