At Fireside, you can share what's on your mind about education.
From the chapter "A Promising Start" in Howard Gardner's book, Truth, Beauty, and Goodness: Reframed.
Yes, This I believe. This I enact. Our greatest hope is in blending the ages together online, joining together in this adventure, coming into the next human age, the era of online connectedness. Forging our way... so much more powerful when we share the venture.
What do you think about what Howard Gardner is saying? Have you read the book?

Comment by Ian Carmichael on July 3, 2012 at 6:39am I like his re-take of the classical values. Taking Truth, beauty and goodness as three central orientations really prevents education from becoming trivialised. And taking up a relational, mentoring stance connects positively with the modern relation-centred students.
(I've skimmed the book: Kindle version, and found it very impressive - but haven't been deeply into it yet. And until Kindle allow me to read again on my old mac, or give me page numbers in the cloud reader, I may not do the deep reading for a while.)
